On the way to Lhasa, drive along the Friendship Highway leading to the Friendship Bridge on the border between Nepal and Tibet. Begin your tour from Lhasa, drive through pristine high-altitude lakes, rivers, glaciers, and agricultural valleys to Base Camp, crossing a variety of high-pass filters over 5,000m. As one of Tibet’s classic overland adventure vacations, the travel route itself is one of the most interesting highlights of the trip, and you can see the world’s highest mountain Everest from the Tibetan Everest Base Camp closest to you. A drive to Base Camp will not only see Base Camp, but also many classic and historic Tibetan villages and landscapes, the famous city of Lhasa, and many Buddhist temples along the way.
A great view of Everest from Rongbuk, and hike to base camp along the yak trail. And visit the world’s highest Buddhist school with monastery. After a base camp tour, drive to the famous Buddhist city of Lhasa and pass some of the famous Buddhist monasteries with a passionate Tibetan guide who will teach you about Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism.
After breakfast in Kathmandu hotel, start our journey along the Pasang Lhamu Highway to the Tibetan border Kyrong, which is alternatively opened new travel route to Tibet from Nepal. You drive through some really splendid sights- cascading waterfalls, rivers and hill-side villages and paddy. About 6 to 7 hours drive. Stop Night at guest House.
Morning immegration process we cross Kerung Border and continue drive along the himalayan trails to reach Zilong city, Lunch and continue drive through pokutso lake, Shishapangma Conservation area with teh view of Mt. Tso- Oyu, Mt. Shishspangma and view of Mt. Everest. Nyalam Pass which is called Lalung-La pass, Excellent views of mountains along the way. O/N at guest house.
From here the true grandeur of Everest’s sheer north face is visible. Overnight in Monastery or guest house.
Drive to Xigatse city, the house of the famous Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama until his death in 1989. O/N at Hotel.
After a morning visit to the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, a short two hours drive to Gyantse, a small town that once served as the capital of a small kingdom. O/N at Hotel.
A scenic drive through the Karo La Pass and Kamba La Pass with a very good views of the Yamdrok Tso Lake. Then you cross the mighty Brahmaputra River to arrive in Lhasa. O / N at Hotel.
2 days Sightseeing and excursion of the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, surroundings of Bharkhor Market, Derapung and Sera Monasteries. O / N at Hotel.
The tour end and you will free for onward destination to China or fly to Kathmandu.

Organizations and tour operators like us can arrange tours. A travel permit is required if you are from China and a Tibetan travel permit and a paper group visa issued by the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu are required to enter Tibet.
A valid passport is required to enter Tibet. As a general rule, your passport must be valid for at least 8 months in Tibet. Passport details are required to complete the reservation. Make sure the passport details you provide are correct. It’s a good idea to bring a copy of your main passport page and other important documents.
Tours from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp are available year round. April-November is the perfect season for an Everest Base Camp Tour. The weather is nice and warm at this time of year, but this time there is little or no rain. Everest is clearly visible. Tours are possible in the winter months such as December, January and February, but it is very cold. The temperature drops to -15 degrees Celsius.
